Featuring a stainless steel double ball race swivel head contributing to maintenance free life, fitted with an attractive stainless steel thread guard on the 100 and 125mm or plastic thread guards on the 75mm castors these castors can also be fitted to food carts being constantly moved through cool rooms and steamy kitchens and can be hose cleaned. 

The S4490B by Richmond Wheel and Castor Co. is a swivel frame castor and has a nylon wheel. This swivel castor is in our stainless steel elite bolt range and can hold loads up to 100kg. The S4490B uses plain bearings for wheel rotation and is bolt mounted. The swivel frame of this castor permits the load to be steered. The outside diameter of the nylon wheel is 100mm, the wheel width is 30mm and can be ordered separately (NY4417). This model can also be ordered without a brake (part number S4490).
