CRH Butyl Rubber Mylar Aluminium Foil Tape, 150mm x 10m

Materials: 

Mylar-Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) coated Aluminium foil-coated tape, 1.1mm thick. Butyl rubber adhesive will adhere to most surfaces including: 

• Metals
• PVC 
• Brick
• Fibreglass 
• Glass 
• Timber 

Usages: 

Butyl tape is very versatile and has many application uses: 

• Provides an air tight and water tight seal
• Will not dry out 
• Maintains its stickiness at lower temperatures 

Application:

1. All surfaces are to be clean and dry and free from dust, grease, oil, loose mortar and any other foreign material before applying CRH Butyl aluminium foil tape.
2. Cut tape carefully with a knife or scissors. 
3. Remove the backing paper and apply tape onto the surface, press firmly along its whole length to achieve good adhesion and mould in place. 
4. Overlap adjoining strips by a minimum of 25mm.
